22　Outline of KOCHI University 2013学部・大学院　● 学部附属施設はじめに組織・役員等学部・大学院学内共同教育研究施設等教職員・学生国際交流地域連携財務キャンパス学部附属施設　Special Facilities Affiliated with Faculties教育実践分野に関する総合的研究と地域貢献事業を推進するCERT promotes various research and contributes to local enterprises in the fieldof education.地震、測地等の観測により自然地震の発生機構、地殻構造、地盤変動等の解明及び地震予知に関する研究を行い、併せて学生の実験実習に供するEarthquake and geodetic observations will aid in predicting naturally Occurringtectonic movements. Ground fluctuations throw light on research into earthquakepredictions through experiments conducted. The observatory may be used forstudent laboratory work and practice.高温、高圧下の水が関与する水熱反応について研究を行い、併せて学生の実験実習に供するThe Laboratory serves for research on hydrothermal chemistry relating to waterat high temperatures and pressures.
