26　Outline of KOCHI University 2013 はじめに組織・役員等学部・大学院学内共同教育研究施設等教職員・学生国際交流地域連携財務キャンパス学内共同教育研究施設等　● 学内共同教育研究施設　全国共同利用・共同研究拠点全国共同利用・共同研究拠点Nationwide Joint-Use Facility教育研究施設Educational Research Facilities海洋コア総合研究センター　Center for Advanced Marine Core Research総合教育センター　General Education Center海洋コア総合研究センターは、深海底や陸上で掘削されたコア試料から、地球環境変動や内部構造、地殻内生物圏、さらに深海鉱物資源の研究などを行うための最新鋭の科学機器を備えている。海洋研究開発機構（JAMSTEC）との協力のもと、統合国際深海掘削計画（IODP）など地球科学の最先端を開拓するための全国共同利用施設として、国内はもとより海外の研究者にも施設を開放している。2009年６月に、文部科学大臣から「地球掘削科学共同利用・共同研究拠点」に認定された。地球掘削科学の発展を望む研究者コミュニティの要望に応えるべく、本センターの卓越した設備・機器を活用した共同利用・共同研究を行い、我が国主導の地球掘削科学やその関連分野の拠点化・推進を図る。The Center for Advanced Marine Core Research is equipped with state-of-the-art facilitiesfor studies in various fields of earth science, including environmental change, geodynamics, the deep biosphere, and deep sea mineral resources, alldealing with drilled cores taken from deep-sea bottom beds to on-end geological fields. The Center works in cooperation with the Japan Agency forMarine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) to provide open access to those facilities and core sample repositories for domestic researchers andstudents, as well as those from abroad, in order to advance geosciences frontiers including the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP).In June 2009, the Center was designated as a“ Joint Usage / Research Center for Drilling Earth Science”. To meet the demands of the community ofresearchers wishing for the development of deep-drilling earth science, we will conduct joint usage and research, utilizing our outstanding facilitiesand equipment, with a view to the development of bases for and promotion of deep-drilling earth science and its related fields led by our country.総合教育センターは、大学教育創造部門、入試部門、キャリア形成支援部門、社会協働教育部門及び修学支援部門を組織して、高知大学における全学共通に必要とされる人間的資質及び能力の養成に必要な教育プログラム等の研究・開発・試行を行い、学部・大学院、その他関連する組織等と協働し、21 世紀の知識基盤社会において有為な人材を育成するにふさわしい新たな仕組みを総合的に創造することを目的とする。The General Education Center consists of the Education Creativity Section, the Entrance Examination Section,the Career Planning and Support Section, Section for Social Collaboration in Education and Student SupportDivision. It conducts research, development and experimentation of educational programs in order to nurturehuman qualities and faculties throughout Kochi University. With the collaboration of the five faculties, graduateschools, and other related organizations, the Center aims at creating a new comprehensive structure to help ourstudents graduate with the faculty to contribute to the knowledge-based society of the 21st century.大学教育創造部門　Education Creativity Section新しい大学教育プログラムの研究及び教育システムや教授法の開発を行うとともに、教育評価システムやFD の企画・実施を通して学習支援のあり方を図る。The Education Creativity Section conducts research on creating and developing new university educational programs, systems and methodologies. Itaims at supporting students' studies through an educational evaluation system and by planning and holding faculty development projects.入試部門　Entrance Examination Section入学者の入学後における動向を、長期間にわたって追跡的に調査・解析し、アドミッション・ポリシーにもとづく入学者選抜方法の妥当性について検証するとともに、それをふまえた広報活動の方策に関する検討を推進する。また、研究の成果を社会に公表し、入学者選抜方法に関する社会的説明責任を果たすことを目的とする。The Entrance Examination Section helps conduct the entrance examinations, carries out research on them, and examines the students' grades afteradmission.キャリア形成支援部門　Career Planning and Support Sectionキャリア形成支援に関する教育プログラムの研究・開発・試行を図るとともに、インターンシップに関する企画・立案を行う。また、進路及び就職支援計画に関する企画・立案を行い、就職関係の広報・説明会、学生相談等の実施に関する支援および就職情報の収集と提供を実施する。The Career Planning and Support Section engages in research, development and trials educational programs on career planning and student support.It also designs plans for internships and career planning support, including advertising job information and holding orientations and consultations onjob seeking, in addition to collecting and providing career planning information.社会協働教育部門　Section for Social Collaboration in Education社会協働教育プログラム（サービスラーニング含む）及び社会と協働して行う学生支援等の調査研究・開発・試行に関する業務を行う。The Section for Social Collaboration in Education collaborates with society in conducting research, development and trials relating to student supportand other activities.修学支援部門　Student Support Division修学支援、正課外教育などの、学生生活に関わる諸問題の調査研究及び企画立案を行う。また、学生ボランティア活動等への支援にも取り組んでいる。The role of this division is to plan and conduct surveys, research and projects on issues concerning student life, including student support andextracurricular education. It also provides support in student volunteer activities.　特別修学支援室　Academic Support Office for Students with Special Needs支援室は各学部等と連携し、身体障害、精神障害、発達障害及びその他の心身の機能の障害のある学生への修学相談及び修学支援を行う。また、特別修学支援に関する教育・研究を行う。The new office of support for students with special needs collaborates with all faculties in aiding students with any kinds of physical, mental anddevelopmental disabilities by providing them with advice and help with any problems they may have with university life. It also conducts researchand provides instruction on any matters to do with support for special needs students.
