26　Outline of KOCHI University 2017 はじめに組織・役員等学部・大学院学内共同教育研究施設等教職員・学生国際交流地域連携財務キャンパス学内共同教育研究施設等　● 学内共同教育研究施設　全国共同利用・共同研究拠点全国共同利用・共同研究拠点Nationwide Joint-Use Facility海洋コア総合研究センター　Center for Advanced Marine Core Research海洋コア総合研究センターは、深海底や陸上で掘削されたコア試料から、地球環境変動や内部構造、地殻内生物圏、さらに深海鉱物資源の研究などを行うための最新鋭の科学機器を備えている。海洋研究開発機構（JAMSTEC）との協力のもと、国際深海科学掘削計画（IODP）など地球科学の最先端を開拓するための全国共同利用施設として、国内はもとより海外の研究者にも施設を開放している。2009年６月に、文部科学大臣から「地球掘削科学共同利用・共同研究拠点」に認定された。さらに、2016年1 月には、第2 期（平成28年度～平成33年度）の拠点認定を受け、引き続き地球掘削科学の発展を望む研究者コミュニティの要望に応えるべく、本センターの卓越した設備・機器を活用した共同利用・共同研究を行い、我が国主導の地球掘削科学やその関連分野の拠点化・推進を図る。The Center for Advanced Marine Core Research is equipped for cutting-edge research in various fields of Earth Sciences like Global Climate Change,Geodynamics, Geobiology, Deep-Sea mineral resources, based on drilled core samples from deep-sea floor and on-shore fields. In cooperation withthe Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), the Center supports the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) andmultiple projects of geosciences, and provides access to the state-of-the-art analytical facilities for scientists. The gate of the Center is open to boththe national and international science communities.In order to develop interdisciplinary scientific fields in the Earth Sciences, the Center was designated as a“Joint Usage / Research Center forDrilling Earth Science”by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan in June 2009, and this designation was certifiedto continue for another 6 years (2016-2022) in January 2016.教育研究施設Educational Research Facilities大学教育創造センター　Center for Higher Education Development大学教育創造センターは、①高知大学の教育に関する将来構想とこれを具現化するための企画・提案、②将来構想を実現するためのプログラム開発および教員の職能開発、③各部局による教育課程および授業改善に関する支援・検証・評価を行うことにより、全学的な教育改革の中核としての役割を担うことを目的とする。The objectives of the Center for Higher Education Development are to propose, plan and realize advanced education at Kochi University. TheCenter also functions as the hub of educational reform by developing programs, helping teachers improving their teaching skills, and by supporting,evaluating, and improving each faculty’s educational programs and content.学生総合支援センター　Center for General Student Support学生総合支援センターは、キャリア形成支援ユニット、特別修学支援室、修学支援ユニットを組織して、全学的立場から学生の充実したキャンパスライフ実現のための様々な支援を行う。また、関連する研究・企画開発・事業実施にとりくみ、もって高知大学における学生支援活動の充実・発展に寄与することを目的とする。The Center for General Student Support consists of the Career Planning Support Unit, the Office of Academic Support for Students with Special Needs,the Support Unit for Extracurricular Activities, Learning Environment, and Student Life. The Center provides all students with various kinds of supportto help them make their university life fruitful. It also conducts research projects in order to further advance student support at Kochi University.アドミッションセンター　Admission Center入学者の入学後における動向を、長期間にわたって追跡的に調査・研究・分析し、アドミッション・ポリシーにもとづく入学者選抜方法の妥当性について検証するとともに、それをふまえた広報活動の方策に関する検討を推進する。また、研究の成果を社会に公表し、入学者選抜方法に関する社会的説明責任を果たすことを目的とする。The Center conducts surveys and researches trends among admitted students over extended periods, both to assess the university’s entranceexaminations on the basis of our Admission Policy and to promote our university to prospective applicants.
