28　Outline of KOCHI University 2017学内共同教育研究施設等　● 学内共同教育研究施設はじめに組織・役員等学部・大学院学内共同教育研究施設等教職員・学生国際交流地域連携財務キャンパス地域連携推進センター　Center for Regional Collaboration（CRC）“敬地愛人”　　地域を敬い、人を愛する地域連携推進センターは、高知大学における教育の進展に寄与し、高知大学の有する人的資源、知的資源、施設を活用して、地域との緊密な連携を推進することにより、地域における人材の育成、地域イノベーションの創出、科学の発展、技術開発及び産業の活性化に貢献するとともに、地域の振興と維持・発展に資することを目的とする。また、地域ニーズと大学シーズを効果的にマッチングさせる高知大学インサイド・コミュニティ・システム事業やまち・ひと・しごと創生　高知イノベーションシステム事業を推進し、地域の大学として、高知県と高知大学が官学一体となり地域の課題解決を進め、地域の課題を組織的かつ機動的に解決するための域学連携教育研究体制の強化に貢献することを目的とする。Our motto is “Respect the Region, Love the People!”CRC aims to contribute to the promotion of education and research at Kochi University as well as to thesustainable development of the region. Through close partnership with the regional community by utilizingthe university’s human and intellectual resources as well as its facilities, we aim to foster individuals, createregional innovations, and develop science and technology in the local community. In addition, we are currentlydeveloping the “Kochi University-Inside-Community System”, a mechanism designed to efficiently coordinate thelocal needs and the “university seeds”. To this purpose, in our capacity as a “local university,” we are committedto working in unison with Kochi Prefecture to tackle with local issues and devise appropriate solutions in astructurally dynamic, swift and well-coordinated manner. Our goal is to contribute to the strengthening ofregional alliance and research collaboration established between local communities and the university.域学連携推進部門　Regional Alliances Section (RAS)高知大学インサイド・コミュニティシステム事業において、地域との連携を推進し、現場のニーズに応じた課題解決及び地域における人材の育成に貢献するとともに、生涯学習の普及に努め、また地域を志向した教育の推進を図ることで、地域の振興と維持・発展に寄与する。Working within the frame of the “Kochi University-Inside-Community System” we aim to promote partnership with the community; to make contributionsto task-solving that meets the needs of various fields today; to train individuals to acquire up-to-date knowledge and skills; to work hard to popularizelifelong learning; to foster region-oriented education and thus contribute to promoting sustainable development of the region.産学官民連携推進部門　Joint Research and Development Section (JRDS)企業、研究機関等との共同研究、受託研究を推進するとともに、教育及び研究の成果を通じて、地域イノベーションの創出、技術開発及び産業の活性化に貢献する。This section promotes joint research/delegated research with corporations and research institutes. It makes contributions to creating regionalinnovations by developing technology and vitalizing industries through the achievements of the University’s education and research institutions.知的財産部門　Intellectual Property Section (IPS)高知大学の創出した知的財産を、自らの責任のもとに、保護、管理、活用し、本学、教職員等、学生、地域社会が受ける利益の最大化を目指す。IPS aims to take the initiative to acquire, protect, grant, and administer the right to intellectual property at the university. This will serve tocontribute and fully extend the benefits to the regional society as well as to the university, the staff, and the students.地方創生推進部門　Regional Community Revitalization Section (RCRS)「まち・ひと・しごと創生　高知イノベーションシステム」事業において、県内高等教育機関、経済団体及び高知県と連携し、地域に対する理解と愛情を有する自律的で協働能力を備えた人材の育成や各種取組を通じた雇用の創出を図り、地方創生に寄与する。The Kochi Innovation Project for Town , People and Jobs is a collaboration with prefectural higher education organizations and business enterprises,as well with the Kochi Prefectural Government. It aims to cultivate professionals who have profound knowledge and love of the region and can workboth autonomously and in collaboration with others. Job creation by various means is another way in which we revitalize the regional communities.国際連携推進センター　Center for International Collaboration国際連携推進センターは、地域とともに学び研究する「知の拠点」として、高知から世界に発信する大学をめざし、国際的な教育と研究の交流、国際協力プロジェクトの企画と留学生の受け入れ・派遣促進を担当する。基本方針は「①グローカルな国際連携をめざす」「②双方向の国際交流を推進する」「③地球規模の課題に対する国際協力にチャレンジする」の３つである。高知の地域資源を生かした国際連携を推進し、国際連携を教育・研究の場としても活用し、高知大学の教職員・学生と留学生がともに集い、学びあうキャンパスづくりをめざす。国際連携推進センターは、国際プロジェクト部門と国際連携教育部門で構成され、中国語センターを附置する。The Center for International Collaboration promotes international exchanges in education and research, suchas collaborative projects and student exchanges. Kochi University serves as the Center of Community (COC)in its cooperative endeavors with local communities. As such we are able to disseminate our achievements tothe rest of the world.Our fundamental principles are:1. Collaborating on global projects2. Linking local and global collaborations together3. Promoting reciprocity in international exchangesWe are always keen to apply Kochi’s local resources to our international collaborations, and conversely to apply the benefits of these collaborationsto our own education and research. We also encourage an atmosphere on the Kochi campus where staff and students from home and abroad cancollaborate with one another and learn together.The Center for International Collaboration consists of two sections: the Section for International Projects and the Section for International StudentAffairs. Also affiliated is the Chinese Language Center.
