Syllabus for Comprehensive Japanese Course, First Semester 2019 (Monobe Campus)
I. Outline
The course, which starts in the second week of April, is available for any international student registered at Monobe Campus of Kochi University. "Elementary Japanese I" is for students who have never studied Japanese before. "Elementary Japanese II" held twice a week is for students who have completed introductry courses, while "Elementary Japanese Ⅲ" held once a week is for students who have already completed learning the first half of "Elementary Japanese".
Ⅱ. Course Levels
“Elementary Japanese I” is for beginner students and it is expected that students learn some basic knowledges for studying Japanese and necessary communication skills in a daily life. The goal is to attain the level N5 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. "Elementary Japanese II" is for students with inreodyctory skills of Japanese. “Elementary Japanese III” is for students who have already completed the first half of elementary Japanese. Students at this course also should learn some basic knowledges for studying Japanese and necessary communication skills in a daily life. The goal of students at this course should pass the level N4 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
