4. A Consortium for Exploratory Research on Intractable Immune Disease to Obtain New Targets for Therapy
Recent advance in the research on intractable immune disease increases the knowledge on disease mechanism and contributes to the development of new biomarkers and therapeutics. In collaboration with other universities and pharmaceutical companies, we plan to start a consortium on intractable immune disease. In this project, we perform a omics analyses on samples obtained from patients with intractable immune disease. From datasets obtained by omics analyses, we will find new disease-related molecules and clarify their physiological and pathological functions to develop new diagnostic/therapeutic agents.
