| The Organic Geochemistry Laboratories contain various instruments, such as the elemental analyzer (EA), coulometer, gas chromatograph (GC), GC-mass spectrometer (GC-MS), EA-online-isotope ratio mass spectrometer (EA-IRMS), and GC-combustion- isotope ratio mass spectrometer (GC-C-IRMS). These instruments allow us to understand the biogeochemical cycles in the atmosphere-ocean-sediment system and reconstruct paleoenvironmental changes in the ocean using organic geochemical tracers. |
