Students from the Phase-Free Disaster Prevention Team at Kochi University experienced an interactive disaster-prevention game created by an international student from University of Sassari on May 22.<\/p>\n

The game was inspired by an international spring school held in February in areas including Susaki, where students and faculty members from the Faculty of Regional Collaboration and universities in Japan and overseas worked together on disaster-prevention learning activities. Using Susaki City as a model, the game was designed to help participants learn about disaster preparedness through practical and hands-on experiences.<\/p>\n

The creator, a graduate student specializing in gaming simulation, continued improving the prototype over several months while staying in Kochi.<\/p>\n

During the session, students played the completed version of the game and deepened their understanding of disaster prevention in an engaging and enjoyable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
