1. Japan Student Services Association Scholarship（JASSO）
The “Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students” is for international students with outstanding scholastic and personal qualities who are experiencing financial difficulty.

There is no guarantee that the foundations will be offered in subsequent years. In addition, the amount of scholarship and criteria for eligibility are subject to change. - In-Campus deadlines will be set earlier than foundation’s deadlines. Please check In-Campus deadlines on KULAS or Homepage because the deadline for applications will not be the foundation’s deadline but the In-Campus deadline.
- Please be aware that there are scholarships that are not on this chart and these scholarships may not require a university recommendation. You can apply for those scholarships individually. If you win a scholarship for which you have applied independently, please declare it to the Global Education and Advancement Support Office. If it is discovered later that you are receiving scholarships from multiple foundations and that this is prohibited, your scholarship may be withdrawn by Kochi University and you ordered to refund the scholarship.
