On Saturday, September 27, while visiting the Osaka Kansai Expo as part of Faculty of Regional CollaborationFaculty of Regional Collaboration, four Faculty of Regional Collaboration — Faculty of Regional Collaboration, Shogo Ikeda, Haruto Oishi, and Kosuke Yamashita—assisted in rescuing a visitor who had collapsed at the venue.While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, they performed initial first aid, including chest compressions, operating an AED, and contacting relevant authorities. In recognition of their actions, they received a certificate of commendation from the Japanese Red Cross Society on March 24.
