The General Education Center consists of the Education Creativity Section, the Entrance Examination Section, the Career Planning and Support Section, Section for Social Collaboration in Education and the Japanese and International Student Support Section. It conducts research, development and experimentation of educational programs in order to nurture human qualities and faculties throughout Kochi University. With the collaboration of the five faculties, graduate schools, and other related organizations, the Center aims at creating a new comprehensive structure to help our students graduate with the faculty to contribute to the knowledge-based society of the 21st century.

Education Creativity Section

The Education Creativity Section conducts research on creating and developing new university educational programmes, systems and methodologies. It aims at supporting student' studies through an educational evaluation system and by planning and holding faculty development projects. It also helps the students' peer support activities.

Career Planning and Support Section

The Career Planning and Support Section engages in research, development and trials of educational programmes on career planning and student support. It also designs plans for internships and career planning support, including advertising job information and holding orientations and consultations on job seeking, in addition to collecting and providing career planning information.

Career Planning and Support Section

Section for Social Collaboration in Education:

The Section for Social Collaboration in Education collaborates with society in conducting research,development and trials relating to student support and other activities.

Japanese and International Student Support Section

The Japanese and International Student Support Section provides support to both Japanese and international students in their studies, promotes the admission of international students and supports their career planning, and supports Japanese students who wish to study abroad.
