The 14th International Kuroshio Science Symposium held on November 13 (Sat.) and 14 (Sun.), 2021, was successfully completed with a total of 287 participants from 63 institutions and universities in 6 countries. In addition, 65 participants from 3 countries participated in "PHILAPKUS," an alumni association of the Kuroshio Science Program held on Monday, November 15, as a related event, and 43 participants from 4 countries attended the research report meeting "Regional Revitalization (How Regional Revitalization Can Combat Aging and Declining Population? ～The Challenge of Regional Universities)" held on Wednesday, November 17, where active discussions were held. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who helped to publicize this symposium and to those who made presentations.

2021年11月13日（土）および14日（日）に開催された第14回黒潮圏科学国際シンポジウムは，6ヶ国，63機関・大学から総勢287名の参加を得て無事に終了いたしました。また，関連企画として11月15日（月）に開催された黒潮圏総合科学専攻フィリピン人同窓会「PHILAPKUS」には3ヶ国65名，11月17日（水）に開催された「地方創生」研究報告会（地方創生は高齢化・人口減少にどのように立ち向かうのか? ～地方大学の挑戦～）には4ヵ国43名が参加し，活発な議論が繰り広げられました。本シンポジウムの周知や発表等でご協力いただいた皆様方へ，御礼申し上げます。（リンク）
