In commemoration of the signing of an academic exchange agreement with National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) and the visit of the presidents of several Taiwanese universities participating in the TJ alliance to Kochi University, a "Kick-off seminar of collaborative educational and research activities between NTOU and KU" was held online. Following a special lecture by Prof. Shinya Shikina of National Taiwan Ocean University, two of our graduate students (Ms. Lorelie Allones Burgos and Ms. Mao Houkin) presented the results of their degree research.
