Self-Assessment and Evaluation

With the aim of further improving educational, research, and other activities, as well as administrative operations, and to contribute to the realization of the university’s philosophy and objectives, Kochi University established the IR and Evaluation Organization in fiscal year 2016 as a body reporting directly to the President.
 This organization has established a self-assessment and evaluation system involving the entire faculty and staff. It collects and analyzes data related to education, research, human resources, and finance (Institutional Research, or IR) to support efforts to reallocate internal resources. Additionally, it provides advice and conducts evaluations regarding mid-term goals and plans, thereby promoting further self-assessment and evaluation within the university.
