Information on Awards and Prizes for Extracurricular Activity Groups
University Recognition Program
The university has established a system to recognize individual students and student organizations within the scope described below; recipients are awarded a certificate of recognition and a commemorative gift.
Eligibility for the Award
- Individuals who have received an award from an international or national academic society in the field of academic research or arts and culture, or who are recognized as having achieved outstanding accomplishments in similar academic societies or organizations
- In extracurricular activities, those deemed to fall under any of the following categories
- When participating in, exhibiting at, or performing at international competitions, exhibitions, performances, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “competitions, etc.”)
- If you place in the top three at a national-level competition or similar event
- If a team wins a championship or receives the top prize at a competition jointly held by the Shikoku region or multiple regions, including Shikoku
- In terms of social contribution, those deemed to fall under any of the following categories
- For contributions to the promotion of local culture and sports, etc.
For outstanding achievements in volunteer activities and other forms of community service
For contributions to saving lives, preventing crime, or preventing disasters
- For contributions to the promotion of local culture and sports, etc.
- Other cases deemed worthy of recognition by the Student Support Committee
