Japanese Music Club

We, the Traditional Japanese Music Club at Kochi University, perform on the koto, shamisen, and shakuhachi. We hold our annual concert in December. Throughout the year, we collaborate with the Koto Club at Kochi Prefectural University and other traditional Japanese music clubs in the Shikoku and Chugoku regions, and we also accept performance requests from outside the university. It’s a lot of fun to play traditional Japanese instruments together and interact with other traditional music clubs, so please feel free to stop by and visit us.
