Rowing Club

Rowing Club

The Kochi University Rowing Club trains diligently every day with the goal of winning the Shikoku Intercollegiate Championships and placing in the All-Japan Intercollegiate Championships.Rowing is a sport in which teams compete for position by rowing a set distance from the start to the finish line. While the rules are simple, the sport is deeply complex—influenced by rowing technique and weather conditions—and as you practice more, you’ll experience the exhilarating feeling of moving across the water! We welcome not only experienced rowers but also many who are just starting out in college, so if you’re looking to try something new, you’re more than welcome to join us! We’re also looking for managers, so please consider applying!
