Urasenke Tea Ceremony Club

We, the Urasenke Tea Ceremony Club at Kochi University, practice diligently every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Japanese-style Room 1 on the second floor of the Student Union Building. We are fortunate to have an instructor come from outside the university to teach us not only the tea ceremony itself but also the etiquette and compassion that are useful in daily life. We also showcase the results of our daily practice by hosting our own tea ceremonies. One of the appeals of our club is the opportunity to experience the changing seasons through these tea ceremonies, as well as the chance to interact with local residents and tea ceremony clubs from other universities. Please feel free to come and observe a session sometime.
