Wind Ensemble

We, the Kochi University Wind Ensemble, are a club open to a diverse range of people—not only Kochi University students, but also students from the prefectural university, vocational school students, and working professionals. We currently have about 80 members and practice three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (when a concert or other performance is approaching, we may also hold a practice on either Saturday or Sunday).Students take the lead in managing the group, and we make music every day under the direction of a student conductor. In addition to exchanges with other universities and performances, we also hold many fun events such as barbecues and training camps. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced musician, our goal is to enjoy making music together.
