Volunteer activities
To encourage students to actively participate in volunteer activities, Kochi University promotes the "Kochi Volunteer and NPO Information System" (Pippinet), which is managed by the Kochi Prefectural Council of Social Welfare.

This network aims to "identify volunteer needs by providing residents with a wide range of information on volunteer and civic activities, while also facilitating the smooth coordination of volunteer activities across the region to revitalize volunteer and civic activities in the future." It excludes commercial activities, as well as political and religious activities.

Please note that the Office of Academic Affairs does not currently arrange volunteer opportunities directly; however, if you have any questions regarding volunteer activities—no matter how minor—please feel free to contact the Extracurricular Activities Section of the Student Support Division (Tel: 088-844-8149).
