Self-Directed Learning Support Center (OASIS)
"OASIS Center for Self-Directed Learning"
Located on the first floor of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences building, this space is primarily designed for borrowing language learning materials and self-study. It supports independent study of English and various other foreign languages.
The collection includes over 6,000 language learning resources, such as practice books for various certification exams like TOEIC and the Eiken Test, as well as materials related to English, Chinese, German, French, Korean, and Japanese language education, along with monthly magazines.
Study Area
Media Forest is a popular study space, on par with the Comprehensive Research Building. Every booth is equipped with an information outlet, allowing students to use their own laptops, as well as the provided desktop computers and laptops available for loan within the facility. There are also numerous movie DVDs and DVD players available for viewing at any time.
Individual Study Rooms / Pair Study Rooms
It can be used for partnership programs (exchange lessons with international students) or in small groups.
Multimedia Lab
The group study room, which seats up to 20 people, is equipped with various audiovisual devices and projectors, and is used for TOEIC preparation courses, group study sessions, and classes.
