Overview of the System

This is a program that allows students to take one or more courses offered by the University ( Graduate School ) and earn credits.
To become a non-degree student, you must submit an application listing the courses you wish to take (limited to those offered by the University) and be admitted following a selection process.
Afterward, you will take the courses for which you have been approved, and credits will be awarded if you pass the course evaluation, such as through examinations.

Undergraduate Program

Eligibility Requirements

Individuals who have graduated from high school or who are deemed to possess academic ability equivalent to or higher than that of a high school graduate

Application Period
  1. First Semester and Full-Year Courses: Thursday, February 4, Reiwa 9 – Friday, February 12, Reiwa 9
    Second Semester Courses: Monday, August 16, Reiwa 9 – Friday, August 20, Reiwa 9
  2. We will also accept requests to change, add, or extend courses during the same period.
  3. Applications for the intensive course will be accepted after the course dates have been determined.
payment
  1. Application fee: 9,800 yen ( for Reiwa 9 enrollment). Please pay this fee along with the required documents. (If the application covers two or more Faculty, pay only the portion corresponding to the earlier enrollment date Faculty.)
  2. Enrollment Fee: 28,200 yen (for Reiwa 9 enrollment). Please pay this fee by the enrollment date. (If enrollment spans two or more Faculty, pay only the portion corresponding to the earlier enrollment date Faculty.)
  3. Tuition: Please pay 14,800 yen per credit by the payment deadline. (If your course spans Faculty, please pay the total amount Faculty in a single payment.)

    (1) First-semester and full-year courses: Thursday, February 4, Reiwa 9 – Friday, February 12, Reiwa 9
    (2) Second-semester courses: Monday, August 16, Reiwa 9 – Friday, August 20, Reiwa 9
  2. For students arriving in Japan for the first time (new arrivals)
    (1) First-semester and full-year courses: By October of the previous academic year (for students arriving in April Reiwa 9, by October Reiwa 8)
    (2) Second-semester courses: By April of the relevant academic year (for students arriving in October Reiwa 9, by April Reiwa 9)
    (Note: For applications submitted before the syllabus is finalized, only courses guaranteed to be offered in the following academic year are eligible.)
  3. We will also accept requests to change, add, or extend courses during the same period.
  4. Applications for the intensive course will be accepted after the course dates have been determined.
