[Important] (Japan Student Services Organization Scholarships) Regarding Applications and Information Sessions for the 2026 Academic Year Enrollment Selection
We will be holding information sessions for those applying for the first time for Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarships [Grant-type Scholarships, Loan-type Scholarships (Type 1 and Type 2)] in the 2026 academic year. If you wish to apply, please check the session schedule listed below and attend the session.
Please note that information sessions will be held separately by campus and by scholarship type (grant or loan). Please carefully review the notes below and attend the information session for the scholarship type you are interested in.
[Important Notes]
・This information session is intended for students applying for scholarships for the 2026 academic year. Current students who have already been awarded a Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) scholarship, as well as incoming students who have been provisionally selected as JASSO scholarship candidates, do not need to attend. (However, those who have already been awarded a scholarship but wish to change or add a scholarship type should attend.)
・At the Asakura Campus, information sessions for undergraduate students are held by faculty to reduce crowding. However, if you are unable to attend the session scheduled for your own faculty due to scheduling conflicts with other orientation events or similar reasons, you may attend the session for another faculty that covers the scholarship type you are interested in.If you are unable to attend the information session for your desired scholarship type due to unavoidable circumstances, application forms will be available at the scholarship office listed below. Since the application process takes time, please pick up the forms as soon as possible to ensure you meet the application deadline listed below.
・Starting in the 2025 academic year, the scope of the new higher education support system has been expanded, and students from large families can now have their tuition and other fees waived by applying for the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Grant-in-Aid Scholarship. If you have not yet applied, please attend the grant scholarship information session to complete the application process. (Current students who have already been selected as grant scholarship recipients, and new students who have been designated as candidates for the grant scholarship through the Japan Student Services Organization’s (JASSO) 2026 academic year pre-selection process conducted at their high schools or other institutions do not need to attend the information session.)

If you fail to report certain items during your year-end tax adjustment or annual tax return, your scholarship amount may be reduced or your application may be rejected.
