In recent years, the event has attracted not only members of the karate club but also students, faculty and staff, international students, and even students and alumni from other universities. It has become a signature event at Kochi University. Last year, over 500 people participated, making it a huge success. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the race, and participants are disqualified if they do not reach the finish line by 3:00 p.m. the following day; however, approximately 60% of participants complete the course every year. It has now become a beloved tradition in Kochi and continues with the support of local residents.
We warmly welcome participants from outside the university. (However, high school students and younger are not eligible to participate.)
体力に自信のある方は勿論、あまり自信のない方も奮ってご参加下さい。
