A Nostalgic Tour of Kochi Through the "Tosa Sanjū-e"
From Thursday, November 25, 2010, through December 1, 2010, the Comprehensive Information Center (Library) will host an exhibition of its collection titled “Nostalgic Kochi Through the ‘Tosa Sanjū-e-zu’” at Media no Mori on Kochi University’s Asakura Campus.
"Tosa Sanjū-e" is a series of woodblock prints by Yoshinobu Sakamoto, a native of Kochi Prefecture, depicting the landscapes and customs of 30 locations in Kochi Prefecture during the early Shōwa period. We will also be displaying photographs of the same locations as those depicted in the prints, so please enjoy seeing how they have changed over time.
[Date and Time] Saturday, January 28, 2012, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
[Location] Kochi University Asakura Campus, Faculty of Education, Music Building, 1st Floor Hall
