Lecture on Home-Based Cancer Care

Date:

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is implementing the "Plan to Promote the Infrastructure for Training Cancer Professionals" with the aim of establishing educational hubs for training cancer specialists.
The plan in which our university participates involves a consortium of 10 universities located in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, with the goal of producing cancer specialists and distributing them evenly across a wide geographical area.
As the lead institution for the Home-Based Cancer Care Working Group, our university is hosting a lecture titled “The Role of Palliative Care Units in Home-Based Medical Care: ‘We Want to Send Them Home’” featuring Dr. Tetsuya Kanbara of Mominoki Hospital as the speaker. The event is designed to deepen understanding of home-based cancer care.
The lecture is open to anyone interested in home-based cancer care, including healthcare professionals currently working in hospitals and other medical facilities.
