総合研究センター防災部門調査報告会（平成23年台風6号による高知県北川村で発生した深層崩壊について）

On July 19, 2011, torrential rains brought by Typhoon No. 6 triggered a series of deep-seated landslides in Kitakawa Village, Aki District, Kochi Prefecture.
Fortunately, there were no casualties; however, given the heavy rainfall and fragile geological conditions in Kochi Prefecture, it is expected that deep-seated landslides will continue to occur in other areas, causing damage.
We are holding a briefing session to share the findings of this investigation into the nature of such deep-seated ground failure and to discuss future countermeasures.
