Faculty: "Disaster Prevention: Exploring Collaboration Among Middle Schools, High Schools, and Universities"

Date:

Faculty will host a research presentation session titled "The Disaster Prevention: Exploring Collaboration Among Middle Schools, High Schools, and Universities" as part of its Japanese language education initiative for "foreign residents."

This project aims to prepare for the Nankai Earthquake, which is predicted to strike in the near future, by fostering collaboration between foreign residents—who are particularly vulnerable to disasters—and the local community in Kochi, a region with a long coastline stretching from east to west, and by establishing a unified support system and information network.

 (1) Development of a Japanese Textbook on Crisis Management

 (2) Understanding the Current Situation of Foreign Residents and Conducting Research

 (3) Creation of a Crisis Management Map for Foreign Residents

We are moving forward with this.

In this session, we will discuss the importance of collaboration between junior high, high, and universities in disaster preparedness, as well as the initiatives being undertaken from each perspective.

There is no participation fee, and no advance registration is required.
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
