Kuroshio Zone Seminar and Workshop
Date:
黒潮圏科学部門では、黒潮圏セミナー「つながるから「感じる」国際協力 ~「わたし」はなぜ国際協力に関わろうとするのか?~」を開催します。
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Ichiro Mukai, who has long been involved in international cooperation at JICA, as our guest speaker. He will give a lecture on what “development education” is and what it entails. We are also honored to have Ms. Aoi Saito join us; she accompanied Mr. Mukai on an “international cooperation training” mission and participated in activities in Bangladesh, and she will share her firsthand experiences from the field.
In addition, based on the content of the seminar held in the morning, we will host a workshop titled “Diversity in Development and Our Connection to It,” using the palm tree as a theme, with Mr. Mukai and Mr. Saito serving as facilitators, to give participants a hands-on experience of “development education.”
Both the seminar and the workshop are free of charge, and no advance registration is required.
Whether this is your first workshop or not, please feel free to join us.
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
