Lecture on the Great East Japan Earthquake: "from 3.11," hosted by the Student Support Division of the Comprehensive Education Center

Date:

The Student Support Division of the Comprehensive Education Center will host a lecture titled "from 3.11" on the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Although two years have passed since the disaster and public awareness is beginning to fade, university students across the country—including those within the prefecture—continue to engage in various activities.
At this lecture event, student groups from our university and other universities (such as Kyoto University) that are actively involved in these efforts will gather to introduce their respective activities. They will raise awareness among Kochi’s university students and local residents—who face the looming threat of the Nankai Trough earthquake—and share information on “the current situation in the disaster-affected areas” and “what we can do.”
Additionally, a “Photo Exhibition of Disaster-Affected Areas” and an “Organization Activity Exhibition” will be held simultaneously at the Student Union Building on the Asakura Campus.
Admission is free, and no advance registration is required.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.
