We are pleased to announce the 36th Kochi University Academia Seminar: "Symposium III on Preparing for the Nankai Earthquake: 'Natural Disasters Facing Kochi Prefecture'."
Kochi Prefecture is surrounded by a rich, beautiful, yet harsh natural environment. While we cannot prevent natural disasters, we can live more safely by gaining a better understanding of nature.
This symposium focuses on disaster risk reduction for a broader range of natural disasters, including not only earthquakes and tsunamis but also, for the first time, weather-related disasters.
This symposium is aimed at the general public, college students, high school students, and others, and the content is designed to be accessible to everyone.
