To share the fascination and enjoyment of archaeology with a wider audience, the Japanese Society of Archaeology is hosting a public lecture series titled “The History of Our Hometowns as Revealed by Archaeology.”
In this public lecture, co-hosted with our university and titled "The World of the Tamura Site in Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture: The Tamura Site from the Yayoi, Ancient, and Medieval Periods—Exploring the Significance of Nankoku’s Large Settlement," we will delve into the world of southern Shikoku during the Yayoi, ancient, and medieval periods based on the findings from the survey of the Tamura Site in Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture.
