"Project to Support the Development, Recruitment, and Retention of International Talent for Local SMEs" Internship Report Session and Seminar on Hiring International Students
Date:
In collaboration with the six universities of Shikoku, Kochi University implemented the “Advanced Practical Training Program for International Students under the Asian Human Resources and Capital Initiative”—a project commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry—from fiscal year 2007 through fiscal year 2011 (with fiscal year 2011 being an independent initiative of the university). Through this program, the university provided employment support to international students seeking employment at Japanese companies, including classes in business Japanese, internships, and the organization of regional networking events in Kochi.
We are pleased to announce an “Internship Report Session” featuring three international students who participated in internships organized by companies and other organizations within Kochi Prefecture.
Additionally, we will hold an “International Student Recruitment Support Seminar” for companies and other organizations considering hiring international students, featuring a lecture by a certified administrative scrivener and presentations on case studies of international student recruitment.
