Kuroshio Region Seminar: “Coastal ‘Management’ and Legal Systems—Legal Frameworks for Disaster Prevention, Natural Environment Conservation, and Land Use Coordination”

Faculty will host a seminar titled “Coastal ‘Management’ and Legal Systems: Legal Frameworks for Disaster Prevention, Natural Environment Conservation, and Land Use Coordination.”
For this event, we are pleased to welcome Professor Daisuke Miura Faculty as our guest speaker. He will discuss the concept of “comprehensive management of coastal areas” as outlined in the Basic Act on the Ocean, enacted in 2007, as well as the establishment of a legal framework for the forest-river-sea network and the integration of nature conservation and disaster prevention legislation.
Anyone interested in "integrated coastal zone management," nature conservation, disaster prevention, and related topics is welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
