Shikoku Major Disaster Crisis Management Forum: Learning from the Lessons of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Preparing for the Anticipated Nankai Trough Mega-Earthquake

The Shikoku Five Universities Collaborative Council for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education and Research—comprising Tokushima University, Naruto University of Education, Kagawa University, Ehime University, and Kochi University—will host the Shikoku Major Disaster Crisis Management Forum in collaboration with six engineering-related academic societies. The event will showcase each institution’s initiatives in disaster prevention and mitigation, and will feature a panel discussion on crisis management for major disasters led by the presidents of the participating universities and the presidents of the academic societies.
