Take Your English Papers to the Next Level! ~Soar from Shikoku to the World~
Date:
We are pleased to announce that the "Support Program for Female Researchers' Research Activities (Collaborative Type)" has been selected as part of the FY2014 Grant-in-Aid for Human Resources Development in Science and Technology, a joint initiative of the four national universities in Shikoku.
Accordingly, as part of this initiative, we will be hosting the event "Upgrade Your English Research Papers: Soar from Shikoku to the World!"
We are pleased to welcome Ms. Mirinda Hall (Cactus Communications Co., Ltd. / Editage), who has many years of experience supervising English research papers and extensive expertise in English proofreading and translating Japanese papers into English, as our instructor. In this session, we will learn about the structure of English research papers, the grammar required for writing them, and case studies featuring English papers by Japanese researchers.
This workshop is open to everyone—from students who are about to write their first English paper to researchers who wish to brush up on their writing skills—regardless of whether they are affiliated with the university or not. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
