 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Commissioned Research Project: "Development of a Wide-Area Exploration System for Marine Mineral Resources"As part of the research and development project "Practical Application of Chemical Measurement Systems for Hydrothermal Deposits" (Lead Institution: Kochi University), we are hosting a forum featuring presentations by the Underwater Survey Technology Development Group on new hydrothermal deposit exploration methods and underwater and seabed observation methods for environmental impact assessments during resource development, as well as presentations on policy needs. The forum aims to foster the future development of research and the industrialization of deep-sea survey technologies.
