International Workshop on "Geosciences of Seafloor Manganese Deposits"

To mark the launch of the research project “Geoscience of Seafloor Manganese Deposits Containing Rare Metals” (Principal Investigator: Akira Usui, Specially Appointed Professor, Kochi University), which has been selected for the Cabinet Office’s Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) “Next-Generation Marine Resource Development Technology Program” (“Sea of Zipangu Project”), Kochi University will host a symposium featuring research presentations and discussions with leading researchers, engineers, and policymakers from Japan and abroad.
