The 9th Cancer Pro International Seminar: "Community Healthcare"
Date:
Recognizing that cancer is the leading cause of death in Japan and poses a serious threat to the lives and health of the public, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has implemented the "Cancer Pro" initiative (short for the Plan to Promote the Infrastructure for Training Cancer Professionals) to support university efforts aimed at training medical professionals specializing in cancer care, including those involved in surgical therapy, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and other forms of cancer treatment.
Since the start of the second phase of the "Cancer Pro" program in fiscal year 2012, our university has been holding the "Cancer Pro International Seminar" twice a year.
Graduate School, we actively use English and prioritize "internationalization" as a key concept. Additionally, Medical SchoolMedical School have signed Faculty and are actively promoting student exchanges.
We are pleased to announce the “9th Cancer Pro International Seminar,” where students from the University of Hawaii and Kochi University will first give presentations on their respective universities and clinical training programs, followed by a discussion in English on community and home-based healthcare in Hawaii and Kochi.
