Training Seminar on "Guidelines for Seismic and Tsunami-Resistant Design of Double-Wall Steel Sheet Pile and Steel Pipe Pile Embankment Reinforcement Methods," Center for Disaster Prevention Promotion

Center for Disaster Prevention Promotion, in collaboration with Kochi University, Giken Seisakusho Co., Ltd., and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation, has conducted technical research on a levee reinforcement method using double steel sheet piles and steel pipe piles as a preemptive disaster prevention measure to mitigate damage from events such as the Nankai Trough earthquake. The results of this research have been compiled into a guide titled "Guidelines for Seismic and Tsunami-Resistant Design of Levee Reinforcement Methods Using Double Steel Sheet Piles and Steel Pipe Piles."
We will hold a seminar to present the findings of this research and discuss the "Guidelines for Seismic and Tsunami-Resistant Design of Double-Layer Steel Sheet Pile and Steel Pipe Pile Embankment Reinforcement Methods."
