Kuroshio Zone Seminar: JST Sakura Science Plan Lecture Series—“The Cutting Edge of Coastal and Marine Management Research Aimed at Building a Sustainable Society”

Faculty will host a lecture titled “The Cutting Edge of Coastal and Marine Management Research Aimed at Building a Sustainable Society” on Wednesday, January 18, as part of the Japan-Asia Youth Science Exchange Program (Sakura Science Plan) organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
The Sakura Science Plan will invite Graduate School —five each from the Philippines and Taiwan—from Tuesday, January 17, to Sunday, January 22. The program will provide them with the opportunity to observe and experience cutting-edge scientific research in Japan and at Kochi University, as well as to engage in discussions aimed at establishing a sustainable society.
