Special Lecture Hosted by the Kochi University Research Hub Project "Establishment of an Innovative Water and Biomass Recycling System"
Date:
Organized by the Kochi University Research Hub Project “Establishment of an Innovative Water and Biomass Recycling System,” a special lecture titled “Exploring the Possibility of Balancing Daily Life with Resource and Ecological Conservation in a Vulnerable Environment” will be held, featuring Professor Itsuki Tanaka of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature as the speaker.
We explore the potential for developing and implementing practical approaches that leverage indigenous knowledge—the practical, experiential knowledge formed through people’s daily interactions with their natural and social environments—and local resources to improve people’s livelihoods while conserving and restoring natural resources and ecosystems in “vulnerable environments” (societies, resources, and ecosystems that are easily degraded by human activity) in Africa and Asia.
Participation is open to everyone, including those from outside the university.
