　Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science Kochi Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science Forest Trail Running Race 2017 will be held on the following dates.

　This event was launched to raise public awareness of our experimental forest—which serves as a training ground for students—by making it accessible beyond regular forest management operations, and this year marks its 10th anniversary. With each passing year, the event has gained wider recognition and has become so popular that it reaches capacity before the registration deadline every time.On the day before the event, we will hold a forest observation session and social gathering for trail runners. Participants will take a leisurely test run along the course while listening to stories about the mountains, forestry, and local flora and fauna from staff who know the experimental forest inside and out. ○The 10th Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science Trail Running Race 2017

Date and Time	Sunday, July 2, 2017, 9:30 a.m. – Middle Class starts (Short Class starts 3 minutes later)
Location	Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science, Reihoku Faculty of Agriculture and Marine Science (Experimental Forest)/Kamimi City, Tosayamada Town, Kami-Anauchi
Event	① Middle Class (30 km) ② Short Class (15 km) ③ Team (3 members; 3 categories: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed)
Participation fee	① Middle Class (30 km): 4,000 yen ② Short Class (15 km): 3,000 yen (Entry fee, insurance, course maintenance costs before and after the event, etc.)
Capacity	A total of 250 participants across the Middle Class (30 km) and Short Class (15 km)
Registration: Period	Saturday, April 1, 2017, 6:00 a.m. – Friday, June 16, 2017, 11:00 p.m. (If applications exceed capacity, applicants will be placed on a waiting list in order of registration.)
