The 53rd Symposium of the Shikoku Branch of the Society for Regional Agricultural and Forestry Economics: “The Current State and Future of Human Resource Development for the Sixth Industrialization in Kochi Prefecture”

At the 53rd Annual Conference of the Shikoku Branch of the Society for Regional Agriculture and Forestry Economics (Friday, October 27), we will hold a research symposium titled “The Current State and Future of Human Resource Development for the Sixth Industrialization in Kochi Prefecture.”
With the aim of cultivating specialized professionals to serve as the core of Kochi Prefecture’s food industry, the “Tosa Food Business Creator Human Resource Development Project (Tosa FBC)” has been in operation since fiscal year 2008. This event will review the project’s activities over the past 10 years and present its future vision. Additionally, a panel discussion will explore topics such as human resource development and product development for industrialization, the contribution of universities to regional industrial promotion, and the potential for agricultural development.This research symposium will be held in conjunction with the regional symposium of the 67th Annual Conference of the Japan Society of Regional Agriculture and Forestry Economics (October 27 (Fri) – 29 (Sun)).
