Medical School: "What We Want to Share from the Perspective of Cancer Patients and Their Families: 'Thank You and...'"

Date:

Medical School will host a public lecture titled "What Cancer Patients and Their Families Want to Share: 'Thank You and...'"

Currently, cancer is the leading cause of death in Japan, and it is estimated that one in two men and one in three women will develop cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is no longer something that only happens to others; it is something that can happen to anyone, and it is very close to home.
The need for home-based care is increasing year by year. This time, we have invited cancer survivors and family members who have supported cancer patients to share their thoughts and feelings at the time they were diagnosed with cancer and as family members who supported them. We hope that this will deepen your knowledge about home-based care and provide hints for living in the present and serve as an opportunity to cultivate your perspective on life and death. We look forward to your attendance.
