2018 Skipjack Tuna Seminar: Reflecting on the Value and Sustainability of Skipjack Tuna

Date:

The "Japan Bonito Society," operated through a partnership between Kochi University and Kuroshio Town, serves as a forum for information exchange and mutual interaction among all those interested in bonito. The society aims to reevaluate the value of bonito—which has helped shape Japan’s rich culinary culture—and explore ways to “coexist harmoniously” with this fish.
To learn about the current status and future of skipjack tuna resources together with as many people as possible, we will hold the FY2018 Skipjack Tuna Seminar: Considering the Value and Sustainability of Skipjack Tuna, as detailed below.

We invite everyone—students and the general public alike—who is interested in bonito to join us. (Admission is free.)
