"Inspiration & Excitement in Science: Welcome to the University Lab—KAKENHI" [Understanding the Functions of Genes and Proteins Through Blood: Let’s Extract DNA from Your Own Blood]

 Science Research Center will host a two-day science workshop for high school students titled “Inspiration & Excitement in Science: Welcome to the University Lab—KAKENHI” [Understanding the Functions of Genes and Proteins Through Blood: Let’s Extract DNA from Your Own Blood] on Wednesday, August 1, and Thursday, August 2.

 In this hands-on workshop, participants will extract DNA from their own blood samples and attend lectures on blood typing and the functions of genes.

 Why not come to the Kochi University Okayama Campus and learn about the roles of genes and cells using your own blood?

 We are looking for high school students who are interested in participating! We encourage you to join us.

・ABO blood typing (antibody-based and genotypic methods)
