Special Collaborative Seminar "Lithium-Ion Batteries and Innovation," hosted by Center of Education and Research for Hope-Emergence at Kochi University

Center of Education and Research for Hope-Emergence is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a special collaborative seminar featuring Mr. Akira Yoshino, Honorary Fellow at Asahi Kasei Corporation.
Mr. Yoshino is the inventor of the lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which is used to power IT devices such as mobile phones and laptops, and is a world-renowned figure whose name has been mentioned as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. In this session, he will discuss the current state of lithium-ion batteries—which are being applied in various fields as environmental devices—as well as the future prospects they hold.
