Open Field Trip for High School Students: "Let’s Explore Tosa’s Sunday Market!—Discovering the Area’s Charms and Challenges"

Date:

Faculty of Regional Collaboration is hosting the 2019 Open Fieldwork event, “Let’s Walk Through Tosa’s Sunday Market!—Discovering the Region’s Charms and Challenges,” designed to give high school students a chance to experience learning Faculty of Regional Collaboration.

We hold the Open Fieldwork program every year to give high school students the opportunity to experience Faculty of Regional Collaboration: “going out into the field to think.” In recent years, issues surrounding Tosa’s “Sunday Market”—such as a decline in the number of vendors and an aging population—have been highlighted. On the day of the event, university and high school students will form teams, walk through the street market, use their five senses to identify these challenges, and participate in a workshop to devise solutions.
