Announcement Regarding the Launch of the IoP Academy

The IOP Project Promotion Office at Kochi University is launching the IOP Academy with the aim of providing the local community with essential foundational information—including plant physiology, cultivation environments, horticultural engineering, and information engineering—that forms the basis of next-generation facility horticulture technology. The program is designed to enhance the fundamental knowledge of practitioners in this industrial sector across related fields. Details are as follows.
〇Basic Courses on Plant Physiology, etc.
Introductory Course on Plant Physiology for Crop Production
〇Fundamentals Course
Easy-to-understand explanations of the mysteries and secrets behind how plants live
〇Basic Knowledge Course for Practical Application
Introduction to the basics of cultivation and environmental management techniques for greenhouse vegetables in Tosa
Location: Kochi Prefecture Agricultural Successor Training Center [Annex] (665 Kuroishi, Shimanto-cho, Takaoka-gun, Kochi Prefecture)
Dates: Tuesday, October 29, 2019 – Thursday, March 26, 2020
